Journeys in the Wilderness
Journeys in wilderness spaces are comfortingly common. We see wilderness montages in popular media; we read about wilderness episodes in scripture; and we experience the wilderness in our own lives and faith journeys. Often, time spent in the wilderness is lonely, frustrating, or disheartening, but scripture shows us how our time spent wandering in the wilderness – apparently aimlessly – draws us closer to the heart of God.
